Welcome to the Texas Terrapins Swim Team Electronic Registration platform for our Swim Lessons / Learn to Swim Program! We are pleased to offer electronic sign-up and payment processing. The process is simple for both new and existing members. You’ll get access to your own private account that will enable you to maintain your own contact information, and more.
Swim Lessons / Learn to Swim Program: Is for Non-TTST Members as well as current TTST Members. Non-TTST Members will be required to select Non-TTST Member lessons - which includes a small one-time annual insurance fee of $25. (This fee insures your swimmer while in or around the pool under the care of the Texas Terrapins Swim Team - and it is good for 1 year. Subsequent lessons during the 12 month period can be done under TTST Member pricing.)
Private Lesson (1 Day or 4 Day) : A 1:1 swimmer / instructor ratio.
Semi Private Lesson (4 Day) : A 2:1 swimmer / instructor ratio. (We encourage you to find your own "swim buddy" for this semi private lesson.)
Group Lesson (4 Day) : A 3 or 4:1 swimmer / instructor ratio. (We encourage you to find your own "group" for this group lesson.)
All levels can be taught:
Learn to Swim Level I - Entry level, Cannot swim at all.
Learn to Swim Level II - Knows how to float on back with help, can swimm unassisted 5 feet.
Learn to Swim Level III - Can swim & breathe unassisted 20 feet.
Technique Level I - Can swim 25 yds. needs proper breathing technique.
Technique Level II - Swims freestyle & backstroke well, ready for fly & breast stroke.
Technique Level III - Swims freestyle, backstroke, fly, and breast well - work on perfecting strokes.
Technique Level IV - Mastered all 4 strokes - work on starts, pull-outs, turns & finishes.
Please Note: The registration process asks for T-shirt, warm-up jacket, and warm-up pant size - however, there is no need to select anything because we do not use that information to order, nor do we offer those items with this registration.
